A regular inspection is the best way to anticipate a blowout. You can do the inspection yourself in a matter of minutes. Visibly inspect the tire for wear to the tread, and feel for any wear to the inside of the tire where you cannot see. Use caution to avoid any exposed steel belts. Cracks in the sidewall or damage to your tire’s rim could also lead to a blowout.
